Press "AM50" or "AM53" to enable the "Telematics" appli-
cation for your modem.
Press "No" to leave the "Telematics" application disabled.
When the "Telematics" application is
enabled, the "Telematics" icon displays
in the status and warning icon area. The
number of bars (0-3) indicates the current
strength of the cellular signal. When the
cellular network is connected, the bars in the
icon are green.
When the cellular network is not connected
– for example, coverage is not available or
your subscription is not valid – the bars in
the icon are gray.
Press the "Telematics" icon at any time to view details of
the cellular connection. A pop-up window reports the net-
work status and cellular Radio Signal Strength Indicator
(RSSI) in decibels.
If you have the AM53 modem, the details also include Mo-
bile Country Code (MCC), Mobile Network Code (MNC),
and network operator. Press the "OK" button to dismiss
the message.
