Electrical System: Testing the Electrical Components
The hazard light switch is located on the dash panel
The hazard light switch controls the operation of the hazard lights.

1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting deck, set the parking
brake, and shut off the engine.
2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable at the battery.
3. Remove the dash panel and get access to rear of the hazard light switch;
refer to Disassembling the Body Assembly (page
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the hazard light switch and
remove the hazard light switch from the dash panel.
