When the cutting deck lift lever is moved to the LOWER position, hydraulic fluid
flows through the auxiliary control valve manifold and opens a path for fluid
trapped in the lift cylinder piston to escape through the open port in the auxiliary
control valve. The weight of the cutting deck causes the cylinders to extend
and the cutting deck lowers.
