6. Disconnect the hoses and tubes from the fittings on the hydraulic pump.
Allow the hydraulic lines to drain into a suitable container.
7. Install clean caps or plugs on the openings of pump and disconnected lines
to prevent contamination.
8. Remove the bolts (item 23 in
hydraulic pump assembly to the engine.
Ensure that you do not damage the machine components while
removing the hydraulic pump.
9. Carefully remove the hydraulic pump assembly from the machine.
10. If necessary, remove the hydraulic fittings from the pump. Note the
orientation of the fittings for assembly purposes.
11. Remove and discard all the O-rings from the hydraulic hoses, tubes and
fittings that were removed.
12. If necessary, remove the 2 socket head screws (item 2 in
2 washers (3) that secures the gear pump to the hydraulic piston pump.
Remove the gear pump from the hydraulic piston pump.
1. If removed, install the gear pump onto the hydraulic piston pump. Secure the
gear pump with the 2 washers and 2 socket head screws.
2. If the hydraulic fittings are removed from the pump, lubricate and install the
new O-rings to the fittings.
3. Install the fittings into the pump; refer to
(page
5–10).
