Installing the Fuel Tank

8. Cover or plug the fuel hoses or fitting openings to prevent contamination
from entering the fuel system.
9. Remove the fuel tank as shown in

2. Remove the plugs from the fuel hoses or fitting openings.
3. Connect the fuel hoses to the fuel tank float on top of the fuel tank. Secure
the fuel hoses with the hose clamps.
4. Connect the wire harness connectors to the fuel tank float.
5. Connect the battery negative cable to the negative battery post.
6. Fill the fuel tank with clean fuel; refer to the Operator's Manual.

8. Check the fuel hoses and fittings for leaks.
Note: Repair all fuel leaks before returning the machine to service.
9. Unlock and lower the hopper assembly; refer to Operator's Manual.
