FRONT CRANKCASE COVER
REMOVAL

Remove the oil cooler pi pes (page 5· 19).
Remove the automatic control motor assembly
(page
24-49).
Remove the oil level gauge.
Remove the bolts, wire clamp and front crankcase
cover.
Remove the dowel pins.
Remove the oil joints and O-rings from the oil
pump.
Remove the a ·ring from the front crankcase.
Clean the sealant off from the mating surfaces.
Remove the oil fitter strainer.
OIL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
INSPECTION
Remove the fronl crankcase cover (page 5-8).
Remove the oil pressure relief valve from the front
crankcase cover.
Remove the Coring from the oil pressure relief valve
groove.
