Remove the combination meter 14P (Gray) connec-
tor from the frame and disconnect it.
Check for an open or short circuit in the Pink/green
wire between the rear VSS 3P (Black) connector and
combination meter 14P (Gray) connector.
If the Pink/green wire is OK, replace the combination
meter.
COMBINATION METER REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the front fender (page 3-6).
Remove the combination meter 14P (Gray) connec-
tor from the frame and disconnect il.
Release the meter wire from the wire clip on the
steering shaft holder.
Remove the bolts and combination meIer.
Remove the three screws and handlebar cover.
