Sub-Air Cleaner Removal; Sub-Air Cleaner Cleaning - Honda Fourtrax Rancher AT 2004 Service Manual

FUEL SYSTEM
Be careful nor to
damage fhe air
cleaner housong
connecting hose.
Remove the resonator mounting bolt and resonator
chamber.
Remove the two clip and the air cleaner housing
from the frame.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
SUB-AIR CLEANER
REMOVAL

Remove the seat (page 3-4).
Remove the side/fuel tank cover (page 3-4),
Disconnect the air vent hose from the sub-air
cleaner housing.
Remove the trim clip and sub-air cleaner housing
assembly.
CLEANING
Separate the sub-air cleaner housing and remove
the sub-air cleaner element.
Clean the sub-air cleaner filter with compressed air
if it is dirty.
Reinstall the sub-air cleaner element into the hous-
ing, then assemble the sub-air cleaner housing.
