Alternator Stator; Alternator Cover Removal - Honda Fourtrax Rancher AT 2004 Service Manual

INSTALLATION
Install the recoil starter assembly with the three
bolts and clamp, tighten the boils in a crisscross
pattern in several steps.
Secure the engine sub-harness with the wire clamp.
ALTERNATOR STATOR
ALTERNATOR COVER REMOVAL
Remove the following:
- ai r cleaner housing (page 6-5)
- recoil starter {page 11-4)
- engine guard
Drain the engine oif (page 4-1 2).
Disconnect the alternator 5P (Natural ) connector.
ALTERNATOR/STARTER CLUTCH
Hold the recoil starter driven pulley with a screw- , - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - ,
driver and loo sen the bolt.

Remove the bolts, wire clamps and alternator cover.
