grease
Clean any grease from the
brake
panel
thoroughly.
on
the
shoe
Imings.
Check the brake panel at the waterproof seal lip
contact area for abnormal scratches or w ear.
Instal
l a suitable steel plate to the wheel hub and
tighten the plate with
the
wheel nul securely.
Measure the brake
panel
on the points attached
to
the waterproof seal
lip
for warpage as
shown,
using
a dial
indicator.

Replace the brake panel if warpage
is
greater than
the seNiee
limit.

If the
wheel
hub
was removed from
the
brake drum.
install the wheel hub into the brake drum as follows.

Coat a new D -ring with grease and install
it
into the
brake drum
groove.
Carefully install the wheel hub
while
aligning the
bolt
holes.
Install and tighten the two
bolts.
Make sure any grease is cleaned off
the
inside of the
brake drum and brake
shoes.
Make sure
fila
Install the
brake
drum.
