Remove the dowel pins and
gasket.
STATOR AND IGNITION PULSE
GENERATOR REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Disconnect the ignition pulse generator
connector.
Remove the two
socket
bolts, wire holder and igni·
tion
pulse generator.
Release the
wire
grommet off the alternator cover.
Remove the th
ree
socket
bolt
s and
alternator
stator.
Inst
all the stator onto the
cover
and tighten the
three bolts to the specified torque.
TORQUE:
10
N'm (1.0 kgf·m, 7 Ibf·tt)
ApplV
sealant
to the w ire grommet seati ng surface
and install the
grom
met into the
cover
groove
securely.
Apply a locking agent to the
ignit
ion
pulse genera-
tor
mou nt
ing
bolt threads.
Install
the ignition pulse generator and wi re clamp,
tighten the two bolts to the specified torque.
TORQUE:
6 N·m (0.6
kgf·m

Connect the pulse generator connector.
ALTERNATOR COVER INSTALLATION
Install the two dowel pins and a new gasket.
