Pack the outboard joint with 40 - 60 9 of specified
grease.
Specified grease: Molybdenum disulfide grease
Install the following:
- outboard boot
- new boot band C
- inboard boot
Do not tighten the bands at this time.
Install the bearing with the small 0 .0 . facing the
drive shaft.
Install the snap ring with the chamfered side facing
the bearing .
Pack the inboard joint with 30 - 50 9 of specified
grease.
Specified grease: Molybdenum disulfide grease
Install the inboard joint over the bearing.
Inslall the stopper ring into the groove in the
inboard joint properly.
Adjust the length of the drive shaft to the figure
given below.
