ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Place the front differential in its original position.
Install the front differential case mounting bracket
and fasteners (page 17-31 I,
Tight en the front differential case mount ing bracket
bolts securely.
Tighten the front differential case lower mounting
nut to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 44 N 'm (4.5 kgf·m , 33 Ibl·tt)
Tighten the front differential case upper mounting
nu t to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 44 N'm (4.5 kgf·m , 33 Ibl·tt)
Tighten the front differential case front mounting
nut to the specified to rque.
TORQUE: ZZ N 'm (2.2 kgf·m, 16 Ibf.ft)
Apply oil to new a-rings and install them onto the
oil pipe flanges.
Install the oit pipes to the engine and tighten the
bolts securely.
Install the starter motor (page 21 · 11).
Install the ground cable to the engine and tighten
the bolt.
Install the output shaft boot to the swingarm and
tighten the band screw.
