OUTPUT SHAFT

or damage.
Check the output shaft for abnormal wea r or dam-
age.
REVERSE IDLE GEAR
Check the gear teeth for abnormal wear or damage.
Measure the gea r 1.0.

Measure the gear shaft 0 .0 .
SERVICE LIMIT: 11 .94 mm (0.470 in)
SHIFT FORK AND SHAFT
Check shift fork shift fork shaft for abnormal wear or
damage.
Measure each shift fo rk claw thickness.
SERVICE LIMIT: 4.5 mm (0.18 in)
If the gearshift fo rk or shaft is damaged, replace the
shift fo rk shaft as an assembly.
