ENGINE REMOVALIINSTALLATION

Remove the starter motor (page 21-6).
Remove the bolt and ground cable from the engine.
Remove the bolts and oil cooler pipes from the
engine.
Remove the front differential case mounting bolts
and nuts.
Remove the bolts and front differential case mount-
ing bracket.
Move the front differential forward fo r maximum
clea rance between the propeller shaft joint and
engine.
Pull the propeller shaft joint out of the output shaft
of the engine.
Remove the O-ring from the output shaft groove.
