BRAKE SYSTEM
Apply grease to a new O-ring and install it onto the
knuckle .
Discard rhe used
Install the front brake panel assemblv and lighten
panel bolts. Do
001 the new brake panel bolts to the specified torque.

Install the brake hose to the cylinder assembly A
while aligning the hose with the hose guide on the
brake panel.
Install the brake hose oil boll with new sealing
washers, then tigh t en the bolt to the specif ied
torque.
TORQUE: 34 N·m (3.5 kgf.m , 25 Ibf·ftl
Securely install the breather hose to the brake
panel.
InSlall the following:
- brake shoes (page 16· 131
- brake drum (page 1&15)
Fill the front brake hydraulic system and bleed the
air (page 16-6)_
Install the front wheel (page 14-12).
Remove the cotter pin and axle nut and brake drum .
