Check the gearshift link free play at the cable joint
portion.
ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Gearshift link free plav: 0.2 - 1.0 mm (0.01 - 0.04 in)

If the free plav is out of standard, adjust the free
play by loosening the lock nut and turning the
adjusting nut.
After adjustment, turn the ignition switch ON, and
check Ihallhe gear position indicator shows "N",
