fluid reservoir
to the upper
level.
Reinstall the diaphragm, diaphragm
plate and
reser-
voir cover, and
tighten the
screws.

BRAKE HOSE/BRAKE PIPE/BREATHER
HOSE INSPECTION
Check
the
brake
hose
and
brake
pipe
for damage
and brake fluid leaks.
Check the front
brake breather hoses
for secure
con-
nections and
damage.
A disconnected
breather means
that
the
front brake
drum can flood with
water.

Remove
the
reservoir
cover,
diaphragm
plate,
dia-
phragm and
float.
and soak up
the brake fluid
from
the
reservoir
(page

Disconnect the brake switch
connectors.
Disconnect the brake
hose
from the master cylinder
by
removing the
bolt and two seating
washers.
Fix the
brake
hose to
prevent the
fluid
from
flowing
out.
