FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/ STEERING
InSlaUthe throttle housing holder and screws.
Push the thrallts housing against the master cylin-
der, tighten the front screw first, then the rear
screw.
Install the choke knob into the stay, aligning the flat
surfaces, then tighten the setting nut.
Secure the switch wires with the four wire bands.
Install the handle cover/combination meter (page
22-11).

Remove the screws, throttle housing cover and gas-
ket.
Slide the boot off the throttle cable adjuster.
Loosen the lock nut and cable adjuster.
Bend down the lock washer tab and remove the fol-
lowing:
- pivot nul and lock washer
throttle lever and washer
return spring
throttle arm and washer (by disconnecting the
throttle cable)
dust seal (from the housing bottom)
