RECIPE FUNCTION

CHAPTER 15 RECIPE FUNCTION
The recipe function performs following two processes according to the recipe file data
stored in the CompactFlash card.
'Read' and 'Write' processes are executed by the dedicated instructions ( Section 15.6
Dedicated Instructions). The 'Read' or 'Write' process can also be executed by the "Recipe
Execution Operation" function of the Configuration Tool.
With the recipe function, the information of each production process can be 'read' from
recipe files and reflect them to devices in the programmable controller CPU.
Specified device values can also be 'written' and saved in a recipe file after system
adjustments.

programmable controller CPU.
• 'Write' process: Transfers device values in a programmable controller CPU to a
recipe file.
