Hardware self-diagnostic test and initialization setting of the

Q06CCPU-V(-B)
Starting the C Controller module in the hardware self-diagnostic mode allows the
module to perform the following hardware self-diagnostic tests and initialization
setting. (

(a) Hardware self-diagnostic test
Table 16.16 Hardware self-diagnostic test
Reads the ROM data and performs a sum check.
Checks test data by writing/reading/verifying them on the work RAM.
Checks test data by writing/reading/verifying them on the battery-backed-
up RAM.
Conducts a loopback test of CH1 (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX interface).
For the Q06CCPU-V, diagnoses the status of the CompactFlash card
interface.
(This test does not diagnose whether the inserted CompactFlash card is
normal or not. Data are not written to the CompactFlash card.)
For the Q06CCPU-V-B, the test completes normally without diagnosing
the CompactFlash card interface.
Conducts the self-loopback test of CH2 (RS-232 interface).
Conducts a diagnostic test in the order from Mode 1 to Mode 3.
(b) Initialization setting

Changes the IP address of a C Controller module back to default.
Execution of a script file from the standard ROM is halted.

Formats the standard ROM of a C Controller module.
Formatting of the standard ROM is actually effected next time the C
Controller is started after performing the module initialization setting
