What is I/O Number?
I/O numbers represent addresses that are used in user programs to perform the following:
(1) Inputting and outputting ON/OFF data
(2) I/O number notation

7.4 What is I/O Number?
• Inputting ON/OFF data into the C Controller module
• Outputting ON/OFF data from the C Controller module to the outside
Input (X) is used to input ON/OFF data to the C Controller module.
Output (Y) is used to output ON/OFF data from the C Controller module.
I/O numbers are expressed in hexadecimal notation.
