16.3 Actions to be Taken When the ERR. LED is On or Flashing
POINT
1. Monitoring stops when the active tab is switched from to another during
monitoring, and resumes when the <<Module information>> is opened again.
2. If a communication error occurs during access, click the
button or specify the connection target again.
3. Communication is not available while the C Controller module is being reset.
Start communication after completion of the reset process.
4. The error history and detailed information can be checked in the <<Event
history>> tab of C Controller setting utility.
5. An error code is displayed only when the error is a stop or continuation error.
The displayed error is the latest error.
The oldest error can be confirmed in the System information dialog box
opened from the <<Module monitoring>> tab.

The following describes how to handle each error when an error occurs and the
corresponding box is changed from
(a) When several kinds of errors has occurred
In the System information dialog box opened from the <<Module monitoring>> tab
of C Controller setting utility, check the information of the stop or continuation
error that occurred first (Error code, Present error, Date, and Time).
(b) When an error has occurred in the C Controller module (host CPU)
Take either of the following actions.
• Open the System information dialog box from the <<Module monitoring>> tab
of C Controller setting utility, and take corrective action according to Help
information displayed.
Open the Error details dialog box to check the detailed error information.
• In the <<Event history>> tab of C Controller setting utility, check the date and
time of each error, and confirm the event information (the error code, error
information, etc.) of the first error.
When several stop and/or continuation errors have occurred, ignore the
errors other than the first one.
