6.7.4 When the module has been operated without battery
A battery error occurs if a battery is not installed in the C Controller module.
To disable the battery error detection, perform the procedure (a) below.
* 1 Occurrence of a battery error does not change the CPU operating status.(If it was in the RUN
status, it remains in the RUN status.)
(a) Disabling battery error detection
1) In the <<System settings>> tab of C Controller utility, deselect "Battery check"
in the Error check area.
Write
2) Click the
button in the <<Online operation>> tab of C Controller utility to
write the parameters to the C Controller module.
3) Reset the C Controller module by the RESET/SELECT switch on the module.
(In the case of a multiple CPU system, reset CPU No.1.)
A battery error will not be detected by the above procedure 1) to 3).
