4.3 Remote Operation Function
4.3.3 Remote RESET
(b) When a programmable controller CPU is CPU No.1 in a multiple CPU system
Check the following conditions 1) and 2) before executing remote RESET.
Remote RESET is not available if either of 1) and 2) is not satisfied.
1) Setting required for remote RESET
For CPU No.1, set "Allow" for "Remote reset" in GX Works2/GX Developer,
and parameters must have already been written to CPU No.1. (Write the
parameters and then reset CPU No.1.)
2) Status of CPU No.1
CPU No.1 should be in the STOP status by the following.
• Setting the RUN/STOP or RUN/STOP/RESET switch to STOP
• Executing remote STOP from the user program (QBF_ControlEx or
mdControl function) (MELSEC data link functions are available for the
Q06CCPU-V only.)
• Executing remote STOP from the C Controller setting utility
POINT
Remote RESET cannot be executed for CPU No.1 from the C Controller module
when remote STOP has been executed for it from another peripheral (GX
Developer, etc.)
Cancel the remote STOP from the peripheral.
