PREPARATORY PROCEDURES AND SETTING
(b) For the Q06CCPU-V(-B)
IMPORTANT
1. When power is turned off or the system is reset with no battery installed and without
performing the above shutdown operation, data in the standard RAM, standard ROM,
and battery-backed-up RAM may be corrupted, or a file system error may occur.
Perform the shutdown operation before powering off or resetting the C Controller
system when a battery is not installed in the module.
2. Power off or reset the C Controller system after the shutdown.
Continuing the C Controller module operation without powering off or resetting will
disable normal operation of the module.
Remark
Determine a shutdown request signal (Xm) in advance.
Create a program to perform the following operations by using the
QBF_X_In_BitEx function, QBF_ShutdownRom function, and various file access
(close) functions.
(Use "Standard ROM shutdown status" of the QBF_ReadStatusEx function as
necessary.)
1) Turn the shutdown request signal (Xm: arbitrary) from off to on by using an
external input.
2) Stop file access to the standard ROM, battery-backed-up RAM, and
CompactFlash card, and close the opened files.
(Use the QBF_X_In_BitExXm function and the close or fclose function in
programming so that this operation will be performed when Xm turns on.)
3) Unmount the CompactFlash card.
(
Page 6-60, Section 6.8)
4) Shutdown the standard ROM.
(Use the QBF_ShutdownRom function in programming.)
5) When the MODE LED is flashing, the shutdown is complete.
(To confirm the shutdown status in the user program, check the "MODE LED
status" or "Standard ROM shutdown status" of the QBF_ReadStatusEx
function.)
6) After the shutdown, power off the C Controller system.
* 1 When the CompactFlash card files have not been accessed, closing files in the CompactFlash card
and unmounting are not required.
For a sample shutdown program for the C Controller module, refer to the
following.
