Two Phone Lines

Default: No
Selections:
This parameter enables the dual phone line feature.
To supervise and send reports over two separate phone lines set this parameter to Yes and
install two B430 Plug-in Telephone Communicator modules.
The B430 module plugged into the MOD-1 connector on the control panel is Phone Line 1.
The B430 module plugged into the MOD-2 connector on the control panel is Phone Line 2.
If the control panel senses that a phone line is missing (faulted) it creates a Phone Line
Missing event and uses the other phone line to send reports. The control panel logs Phone
Line Missing events.
The control panel switches between Phone Line 1 and Phone Line 2 each time it sends a Test
report. After the test report is sent, that line becomes the first to be used for sending reports.
