Summary
CAUTION
Risk of system damage. The BSV can be scratched or misaligned during this procedure. Be
careful not to scratch or rub the BSV surfaces. This is not a routine procedure and should only be done if
instructed to do so by your Beckman Coulter Representative.
WARNING
Possible biohazardous condition. The BSV and its associated tubing can contain residual biological
materials and must be handled with care. Avoid skin contact. Clean up spills immediately in accordance with
your local regulations and acceptable laboratory procedures. This may include, but is not limited to, wearing
protective eyewear, gloves, and suitable laboratory attire when operating or maintaining this analyzer.
A.
Prepare the instrument so you can remove the BSV.
B.
Remove the BSV.
C. Clean the BSV.
D. Return the BSV to its original location.
E.
Clean up the area around the BSV.
F .
Verify that the BSV is functioning properly.
A Prepare Instrument for Removal of BSV
1.
Ensure pneumatics are on.
2.
Go to the Numeric Keypad.
3.
Press
4.
Wait
5.
Use F06 to release BSV.
6.
Open the Diluter lower front door.
