CLEANING AN APERTURE BATH
Summary
WARNING
Possible biohazardous condition. The aperture bath and its associated tubing can contain
residual biological materials and must be handled with care. Avoid skin contact. Clean up spills immediately
in accordance with your local regulations and acceptable laboratory procedures. This may include, but is
not limited to, wearing protective eyewear, gloves, and suitable laboratory attire when operating or
maintaining this analyzer.

Press
POWER OFF
B.
Press
C. Unhook the bath springs and disconnect the bath
D. Use distilled water to clean bath and O-rings.
E.
Moisten the O-rings and return the bath to its original location.
F .
Check for leaks and bubbles.
G. Close the compartment door for the baths and aperture compartment.
H. Prime the system by cycling whole blood.
