REAR AXLE STW34, STW37, STW40, WSM 2. FINAL REDUCTION SYSTEM The final reduction system has a planetary gear system. It is compact, and is durable under heavy loads since torque loads are spread over three gears, decreasing the load on each tooth. And this system also spreads the load evenly around the circumference of the system, eliminating the sideways stress on the shafts.
