Setting Up Options

Setting Up Options

Click [Start], point to [Settings], and then click [Printers].
The [Printers] window opens.

Select the icon of the printer you want to use by clicking it. On the [File]
menu, click [Properties].
The Printer Properties appears.

Click the [Device Settings] tab.

Under [Installable Options], select the option you have installed to your print-
er
The current setting is displayed in the [Change Settings] box in the lower part
of the tab.
Note
The following items are available here: [Option Tray] and [Total Printer Mem-
ory].

Use the [Change Settings] box to select the appropriate setting for the selected
option.

After making the settings you want, click [OK] to register your settings and
close the Printer Properties dialog.

You can confirm that the options are properly set by printing a configura-
tion page. P.55 "Printing the Configuration Page"
Assigning the Paper Source
