You should install the PPD file for PostScript printing with the Adobe

Installing the PPD Files

Close Adobe

Insert the CD-ROM that comes with your printer into your computer's CD-
ROM drive.

Select the CD-ROM drive.

In the [Folders] box, double-click [DRIVERS], [RPS2], and then [WIN95_98].
Then double-click the folder of the appropriate language.
You can see the PPD file.
Note
For Windows 95/98/NT4.0, use the same PPD file included in the folder
named DRIVERS\RPS2\WIN95_98\(language) of the CD-ROM that
comes with your printer.

Copy the PPD file into the appropriate folder. The location of the appropri-
ate folder may differ depending on the version of software or how you in-
stalled the software on your operating system. The following are examples:
• Adobe
• Adobe

Selecting the PPD Files

Launch Adobe

On the [File] menu, click [Print].
The [Print Document] dialog appears.

From the [Printers] list box, select the printer you want to use.
Note
Make sure that "RPS" is shown after the printer name.

In the [PPD] list box, select the printer you want to use.
