Status
Printing will not start
even though the Data
In indicator blinks or
lights up.
Paper does not feed
from the proper tray.
Possible Causes and Solutions
A PostScript error might occur if there is not
enough memory in the printer, or there are er-
rors in the print data sent to the printer.
• In some cases, increasing the memory may
solve this problem. Install an optional
memory unit (SIMM). For more informa-
tion on the memory, see P.57 "Printer Mem-
ory and VM Area".
The print job might be reset. Do the following.
• Confirm that you have selected the correct
printer driver. Try printing again.
• If you cannot print with the correct printer
driver, there is not enough memory in the
printer. Increase memory by installing an
optional memory unit (SIMM).
Printer driver settings are wrong. Select the
correct tray.
