Installing Screen Fonts

About Screen Fonts

The screen fonts described below can be found on the CD-ROM, in the folder
named [Fonts].
Screen fonts are 10, 12, 14, 18 and 24 point bitmap fonts. Other sizes make char-
acters appear with ragged edges on your computer screen, but they print with
smooth edges.
Note
The screen fonts included in the CD-ROM are as follows: AG-Ricoh, HN-
Ricoh, CS-Ricoh, BM-Ricoh, ZC-Ricoh, ZD-Ricoh.
Installing Screen Fonts

Start up your Macintosh.

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of your Macintosh.
The CD-ROM icon appears.

Double-click the CD-ROM icon.
The contents of the CD-ROM are displayed.

Drag the fonts you want to install and drop them on the [System] folder icon
of your hard disk.
A confirmation dialog appears.
E
Click [OK].
The fonts are installed.
F
Restart your Macintosh.
Note
The names of the fonts you have installed appear in the pull-down menu
when you select fonts with applications.

Screen fonts are bitmap fonts, which are formed by grouping dots together. Be-
cause of this, screen fonts appear jagged on your computer screen when you en-
large or reduce them. It is recommended to install as many different sizes as
