Understanding the Displayed Information
This section describes how to read the displayed information about the status of
the Network Interface Board.
Print Job Information
The status of the print job can be viewed using the following commands.
• UNIX : Use the lpq command. Use the stat parameter with rsh, rcp or ftp. For

This is record of jobs that have been printed up to now. The most recent ten
records are displayed.
This record can be displayed with the following commands.

Number of the print request.
The name of the host requesting the print job.
The type of print command.
Status of print job.
• Active
Printing or being prepared for printing.
• Waiting
Waiting to be transferred to the printer.
The time when the print request was received.
