Application
Use this procedure to restore the link interface module (LIM) in each link
peripheral processor (LPP) to duplex operation. Perform this procedure after
you power down one unit of the LIM to conserve emergency power.
You must follow the procedure Emergency power conservation—Shutdown in
this document to remove equipment from service. Equipment must be in
normal in-service operation before the need to perform the procedure for
emergency power conservation arises.
Action
The following flowchart is a summary of the procedure. Use the instructions
in the step-action procedure that follow the flowchart to clear the alarm.
