STARTING
*CHECKING FUEL DELIVERY —
TEST

If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair

Turn the ignition off.
Remove the Fuel Pump Relay from the PDC.
Ignition on, engine not running.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the Fused B+ circuit and the
Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit in the PDC.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes → Go To 9
→ Repair the open in either the Fused B+ circuit or the Ignition
No

Turn the ignition off.
Remove the Fuel Pump Relay from the PDC.
Disconnect the Fuel Pump Module harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the (A141) Fuel Pump Relay Output circuit from the relay
connector to the fuel pump module connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Fuel Pump Relay.
→ Repair the open in the (A141) Fuel Pump Relay Output circuit.
No

ACTION
Replace the Fuel Pump Module.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1.
Switch Output circuit. Inspect the related fuses and repair as
necessary.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1.
