PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH OPEN/SHORT TO VOLTAGE —
TEST

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Window Switch connector.
Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the Passenger Window Switch Return circuit between the
Switch connector and the BCM C4 connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Body Control Module.
→ Repair the Passenger Window Switch Return circuit for an open.
No

Disconnect the Window Switch connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between Passenger Switch Mux circuit and ground.
Select the voltage measured.
Between 4.8 and 5.2 volts.
Below 4.7.volts.
Above 5.3 volts.

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Window Switch connector.
Disconnect the BCM C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the Passenger Switch Mux circuit between the Switch
connector and the BCM C3 connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Body Control Module.
→ Repair the Passenger Window Switch Mux circuit for an open.
No

Disconnect the Window Switch connector.
Disconnect the BCM C3 harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the Passenger Switch Mux circuit and ground.
Is there any voltage present?
Yes → Repair the Passenger Window Switch Mux circuit for a short to
→ Replace the Body Control Module.
No
ACTION
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Window Switch.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
