*PASSENGER WINDOW INOPERATIVE —
TEST

Gain access to and disconnect the Passenger Power Window Motor connector
Turn the ignition on.
Using a 12-volt test light connect one end to the Passenger Window Down Relay
Output and the other end to the Passenger Window Up Relay Output in the harness
connector.
With the DRBIII , actuate the PASS WINDOW DN and then the PASS WINDOW
UP.
Did the test light illuminate brightly when the window motor was actuated in both
directions?
Yes → Replace the Power Window Motor.
→ Go To 4
No

Gain access to and disconnect the Passenger Power Window Motor connector
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Passenger Window Up Relay
Output circuit.
With the DRBIII , actuate the PASS WINDOW UP.
Does the test light illuminate brightly when the PASS WINDOW UP circuit is
actuated?
Yes → Go To 5
→ Go To 12
No

Gain access to and disconnect the Passenger Power Window Motor connector
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the Passenger Window Up
Relay Output circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes → Go To 6
→ Go To 11
No

Gain access to and disconnect the Passenger Power Window Motor connector.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Passenger Window Down
Relay Output circuit.
With the DRBIII , actuate the PASS WINDOW DN..
Does the test light illuminate brightly when the PASS WINDOW DN circuit is
actuated?
Yes → Go To 7
→ Go To 9
No

Gain access to and disconnect the Passenger Power Window Motor connector
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the Passenger Window Down
Relay Output circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes → Test Complete.
→ Go To 8
No
ACTION
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
