Symptom:

CRITICAL TIRE PRESSURE - BCM

When Monitored and Set Condition:
CRITICAL TIRE PRESSURE - BCM
When Monitored: Ignition ON and Start positions.
Set Condition: When the BCM input from the TPM Module toggles one second Hi and one
second Low.
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
CRITICAL TIRE PRESSURE CONDITION PRESENT
TEST
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , read BCM and TPM Module DTCs.
Does the DRBIII display CRITICAL TIRE PRESSURE?
Yes → Check and adjust tire pressure.
→ Go To 2
No
2 Turn the ignition off.
Visually inspect the related wiring harness. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or
partially broken wires.
Visually inspect the related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed
out, or corroded terminals.
Refer to any Hotline letters or Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.
Were any problems found?
Yes → Repair as necessary.
→ Test Complete.
No
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION

TION TEST.
