Usage Guideline
Use this command to automatically switch over to summer time. The command has two forms. One is the
recurring form which is used to specify the time through the week and the day of the month. The other
form is the date form which is used to specify the date of the month.
In both the date and recurring forms of the command, the first part of the command specifies when
summer time begins, and the second part specifies when it ends.
Example
This example shows how to specify that summer time starts on the first Sunday in April at 2 a.m. and
ends on the last Sunday in October at 2 a.m.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# clock summer-time recurring 1 sun 4 2:00 last sun 10 2:00

clock timezone

This command is used to set the time zone for display purposes. To set the time to the Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), use the no form of this command.
clock timezone {+ | -} HOURS-OFFSET [MINUTES-OFFSET]
no clock timezone
Specifies that summer time should start and end on the specified week
day of the specified month.
Specifies that summer time should start and end on the specified date
of the specified month.
Specifies the week of the month (1 to 4 or last).
Specifies the day of the week (sun, mon, and so on).
Specifies the date of the month (1 to 31).
Specifies the number of the month. The range is from 1 to 12, where 1
represents January, 2 represents February, and so on.
Specifies the start and end years for the summer time data.
Specifies the time (24 hours format ) in hours and minutes.
(Optional) Specifies the number of minutes to add during summer time.
The default value is 60. The range of this offset is 30, 60, 90 and 120.
