Setting the fuser control temperature

Description
Changes the fuser control temperature.
Purpose
Normally no change is necessary. However, can be used to prevent curling or creasing of paper, or solve a
fuser problem on thick paper.
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item to be set.
3. Change the setting using the +/- or numeric keys.

Stable (Driving)
Stable (Stop)
Temp. Print Full
Shift Print Dup
P. Roller Temp.
Stability Condition Fuser stability condition
*1: 40/40, 50/40 ppm model *2: 25/25, 30/30 ppm model
4. Press the start key. The value is set.
Setting: [Stability Condition]
1. Change the setting using the +/- or numeric keys.
Display

2. Press the start key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
Resetting the fuser problem data

Description
Resets the detection of a service call code indicating a problem in the fuser section.
Purpose
To prevent accidents due to an abnormally high fuser temperature.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Press [Execute].
3. Press the start key. The fuser problem data is initialized.
4. Turn the main power switch off and on.
Description

Stabilized temperature under suspension
Temperature control during printing
Temperature control during duplex-printing
Press roller control temperature
Description
Printing is allowed only if the fuser temperature is within the specified temperature
range.
If the current temperature is above the specified temperature range, you must wait
until the temperature falls to within the range.
Printing is allowed when the fuser temperature is above the specified temperature
range.
If the current temperature is above the specified temperature range, gloss may
appear in the image.
