Shaft Drive Transmission Disassembly
1. Drain and properly dispose of transmission oil.
2. Remove all cover bolts. Tap cover with soft face
hammer to remove. Note 2 bolts in center of cover.
Do not pry on gasket face.
3. Mark chain rotation direction for reassembly. Note
location of chain tensioner. If fully extended,
replace chain.
4. Compress chain tensioner by releasing locking tab
and forcing roller assembly in.
5. Insert
1/8/1
drill bit or similar tool in locking hole to
secure tensioner and remove tensioner.
