7-9. T-Tension Regulator Band Assembly Replacement

Replacement (Perform the part replacement according to the following
procedure.)
Removing the T-tension regulator band assembly
Cleaning the T reel table
Installing the T-tension regulator band assembly
Adjustments after replacement
T Tension regulator operating position adjustment
REV back tension adjustment
Tape run adjustment
Capstan add-on recording adjustment
Preparations
1. Turn off the main power.
2. Remove the front lid and outside panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4.)
3. Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-9.)
4. Check that the unit is in the unthreading-end state.

When installing T-tension regulator band assembly, the two stop washers are used.
Prepare the two new stop washers (3-559-408-11) when replacing it.
