The CCDs, each with 2.2 million pixels, faithfully capture images with natural sharpness. The HDW-F900R also incorporates some new and innovative image enhancement functions, allowing very precise control of the way the picture texture and edges are represented.

    (SD) output from the 1080/59.94i or 1080/50i HD signal with four-channel embedded audio. This makes it possible to monitor recording on-set using a conventional SD-based monitor. SD-SDI or analog composite can be selected via the camcorder’s set-up menu.
