Preparations
Preparation on unit's side
1. Check that the unit is in the unthreading-end
state.
2. Turn off the main power.
3. Remove the front lid and the outside panel
assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4.)
Preparation on tool's side
Remove the two screws that are supplied with the
drum install plate. (Fig. 1)
Install the drum install plate to the boss of the
flatness check tool with the two screws removed.
(Fig. 2)

The upper drum assembly can be replaced when
the cassette compartment attaches to the unit.
