Finisher mechanism
When finishing the printouts using the shift sort function, every second set of printout will be shifted 1
inch off to the horizontal direction of paper and ejected on the tray.
When the trailing edge of paper is nipped only by exit roller pair, the shift motor drives, and the exit
roller pair will be shifted to the shift position. After the paper ejection, the exit roller pair return to their
original position. The machine detects that the rollers have returned to their original position by the
shift sensor.
