Parameters
peer-address: Specifies the IP address of an MSDP peer. If you do not provide this argument, the
command clears statistics for all MSDP peers.
Description
Use reset msdp statistics to clear statistics for the specified MSDP peer without resetting its connection.
Examples
# Clear statistics for the MSDP peer 125.10.7.6.
<Sysname> reset msdp statistics 125.10.7.6

shutdown (MSDP view)

Syntax
shutdown peer-address
undo shutdown peer-address

Parameters
peer-address: MSDP peer address.
Description
Use shutdown to terminate the connection with the specified MSDP peer.
Use undo shutdown to re-activate the connection with the specified MSDP peer.
By default, the connections with all MSDP peers are active.
Related commands: display msdp peer-status.
Examples
# Terminate the connection with the MSDP peer 125.10.7.6.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] msdp
[Sysname-msdp] shutdown 125.10.7.6
