LINE
QUEUING
Description
This feature gives you the ability to reserve a line for use when the line
becomes available. You can queue for any available line in your line group,
or queue for a specific line (or pool of lines).
You are automatically placed in queue for the line when you:
l
dial 3 and the number of a busy line,
l
press a busy line key, or
l
dial 9 when all lines are busy.
If a prime line is programmed for your set, when you dial 9 you will be
queued for your prime line only.
You will hear one burst of tone confirming that you have been placed in
queue. When the queued line becomes free, you will hear bursts of tone
every second for 5 seconds.
To cancel the queue, simply press the
FLASH/CANCEL key while on hook.
