Panther II 820/1032/2064-205
LINE POOLING
GROUPS:
Up to 8 lines on the Panther II 820
system, or 10 lines on the Panther II 1032 system, or 20 lines on the
Panther II 2064 system are put into one of four Pool Groups. Use
Table 2-16 to check off which lines are to be included in each group
from 01 to 04.
Note:
Only "like" lines should go into a line pool (e.g., a pool is made up of all
"same area" WATS lines, local lines, FX lines, and so on). The same line will not
be in more than one line pool group. Pool groups should be organized so [hat there
is one primary line pool with an unlimited number of lines, and three other pool
groups.

2.2 1 After filling in your Line Pooling Group selections in Table 2- 16:

At Station 10 (using a Panther II Display Set), dial * # 0 1 5.
Dial 204RR (where RR is a 2-digit pool group number from 01
to 04).
Dial XX (where XX is a 2-digit line number from 01 to 20).
Step 4.
Dial the digit 0, if you do not want the selected line in the
selected pool group,
OR
Dial the digit 1, if
you
want the selected line in the selected pool
group.
Step 5.
After the inputted data is displayed, press the HOLD key to
store the data and increment to the next line.
Step 6.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until all lines in a particular line pool are
programmed, then
l
Press the HOLD key to increment to the next pool number,
OR
l
Press # to store all previous data or dial a new access code.
Step 7.
Press the * key to exit programming when all selections have
been made. The new programming is complete.
